Trafford Place is a proposed new residential development located on the old B&Q site on Great Stone Road.

Experienced property developer Accrue Capital is working with local town planning consultancy Indigo Planning, and Manchester based architects, O’Connell East, on a proposed new residential project which would bring much-needed new homes to the Old Trafford area.

On 28 June 2018, Accrue submitted an outline planning application to Trafford Council for 433 new homes on this derelict brownfield site. Located on the site of a former B&Q, it would deliver new homes as well as significant economic benefits to the local community. The design has been carefully considered to be complementary to the local area, both in terms of the building height and the overall architecture.

The 433 new homes planned for Trafford Place will include a mix of 1-bed, 2-bed and 3-bed properties, as well as new public realm and ground-floor units for commercial and / or community use. Underground parking spaces will be allocated to some residents, with the scheme also providing a car club, reflecting both the expected demand but also the ambition to encourage sustainable modes of transport such as bike, tram and bus.

In advance of submitting our planning application, we undertook a significant consultation programme, which sought to consider the views of a wide variety of local stakeholders. More detail on the consultation can be found here
